Links: Grizz Update, Bad Teams

Last night, we got an email from Eric McMahon, aka "Grizz" the mascot of the Memphis Grizzlies who is currently battling Hodgkin's lymphoma. He reported that he is doing well with his treatment, which should last another 4 months. He hopes to be back in time for the open of next season. We continue to pray for his full recovery and wish him the best as he enters the last few months of treatment. Get well soon Eric -- we're all pulling for you!

Over on ClipperBlog, they have listed some of the best ways to identify a bad team. I'd say more, but I'm slightly agog after reading this magnificent post that should be printed out and framed.

There had been some talk about a group of Grizzlies fans showing up to the game with paper bags on their head to protest the moves of owner Michael Heisley. Well, in Milwaukee, a group of Bucks fans actually did it. BrewHoop has the story with some great pictures as evidence.

Basketbawful gives some of the participants in the Grizzlies/Bobcats game a mention while reviewing last night's NBA action.

On a final note, this is a sad day for all of us here at 3SoB. If this is true, where am I going to get all the useless information that isn't fit to wipe my backside with?
