This is a site dedicated to the fans of the Memphis Grizzlies. We talk Grizzlies (well write Grizzlies at least but we are working on a podcast), we think Grizz (I am sure some will argue that point as well) and on those glorious occassions when the Grizzlies win we cheer Grizzlies.
What I am curious about is when do most of our readers believe that the Grizzlies will win in Memphis? With an upcoming schedule of Houston, New Orleans and Seattle will the Grizzlies win in Memphis before Thanksgiving?
Give us your thoughts on when the 1st home win of the season will happen.
saturday, the indy game for sure.
ReplyDeletei think we'll win by min of 10.
slim.
I think Griz fans are in a vulnerable emotional state right now. They're very anxious to put the nightmare of last season behind them. At the same time, they're very anxious about what to expect from this largely new team. The fact that many fans appear to be happy about a close loss to the Spurs points to both of these anxieties. I've never seen so many fans so pleased about a loss. It appears to be an overreaction. My concern is that if the Griz lose on Saturday at home to Indiana, we'll see another overreaction, but in the opposite direction. For the sake of the fragile Griz fan, I hope the Griz win on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteThe Grizzlies are certainly capable of winning any of the next few home games, but I believe that they will be "extra" motivated against Indiana tomorrow night and will get the victory.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are all a bunch of homers!
ReplyDeleteCome on, where are PMI and GF and the rest of 'realists'?
I think we will get our first win vs Seattle and follow it up with our first home win vs Houston.
ReplyDeleteafter losing to the pacers, i'll have to say our first home win will come against the Sonics....
