It wasn't an article. It was a blog from a reporter covering the Arizona BBall team not the NBA.

His comments reveal a casualness that an experienced player like Damon wouldn't take with a real reporter. I think Damon was caught off guard and made some comments that now look far worse than he intended.

When do players say 'I'm going to keep my fingers crossed' when talking to the media? He was at his old coaches charity fund raising basketball game and made some off-hand comments that ended up in blog that has now been broadcast around the country.

Damon isn't going to make waves. He is disappointed to be the 3rd (maybe 4th) PG suddenly on a rebuilding team when he signed his contract to be the starter on a playoff team. Who wouldn't be disappointed?Chip Crainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03633190293643815540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8878605120366712244.post-27507386581368978402007-08-21T08:31:00.000-05:002007-08-21T08:31:00.000-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Chip Crainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03633190293643815540noreply@blogger.com
