But, he is the only seasoned veteran on the Grizz. He's played with all these young guys and I believe they respect his game. He plays hard, sets a good example with his practice habits, and seems to have good chemistry with his teammates. Imo, this makes him a valuable asset. Now, if we could consummate a trade that would truly improve the Grizz, I would advocate we do it. Consequently, Mike, in one way or another, is valuable.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8878605120366712244.post-44268643349408132912008-05-08T06:18:00.000-05:002008-05-08T06:18:00.000-05:00I didn't include JCN because he isn't under contra...I didn't include JCN because he isn't under contract for next season. As I said in the begining I am only including contract players for next season.

Tony Parker is a Tier One player but Deron Williams is not? Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Joe Johnson, Gilbert Arenas, Caron Butler?

I don't believe Tier One players should be synonymous with elite superstars. At least that is the way I took it to be.Chip Crainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03633190293643815540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8878605120366712244.post-18344822373489532562008-05-08T00:12:00.000-05:002008-05-08T00:12:00.000-05:00um... we have no tier one player. He is a borderline Tier 3 after his injury filled season but I have him mentally pegged as a solid Tier 3 next season.

Let's not forget he is 22 years old and younger than Marc Gasol and Joakim Noah.Chip Crainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03633190293643815540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8878605120366712244.post-10065802276558211732008-05-07T10:19:00.000-05:002008-05-07T10:19:00.000-05:00where do you place Darko? i assume tier 4, but do ...where do you place Darko? i assume tier 4, but do you not think he could move up to tier 3?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8878605120366712244.post-23225511856868421132008-05-07T08:58:00.000-05:002008-05-07T08:58:00.000-05:00interesting way to think of it, and lets face it, ...interesting way to think of it, and lets face it, till may 20th these types of thoughts are the best we can do!!

I have read this before, not exactly the same outlines, but similar idea. it was right after the pau trade and the one i read was saying we had no top tier players at this point. Rudy def. could become one as early as next season though. But where we seriously suck compared to other teams is tier 2, we have no tier 2 players, plain and simple. I like MM, but if you look at other teams tier 2 players, he loses out big time.

Come on lotto balls!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
